Paradise Meets Performance: Welcoming the MV “HSL KAUAI”

Hudson is proud to welcome the arrival of its newest vessel, the MV “HSL KAUAI”, a ship that embodies the perfect balance of advanced maritime engineering and Hudson’s continued commitment to Clean&Green™ innovation.

The Hawaiian island of Kaua’i is often called the “Garden Isle” in recognition of its pristine beaches, lush rainforests, and diverse ecosystems. As such, this new addition to Hudson’s HSL Series represents a seamless fusion of paradise meets performance, reflecting both the beauty of the Pacific and the precision of modern shipping operations.

Built with advanced Japanese shipbuilding expertise, the MV “HSL KAUAI” embodies Hudson’s evolving HSL Series, incorporating efficient technologies aimed at environmental responsibility and commercial reliability. From hull efficiency enhancements to features like flow control, pre-swirl stator, and rudder fins, the MV “HSL KAUAI” pushes Cleaner&Greener performance to a new level, delivering outstanding speed and fuel efficiency over previous-generation vessels.

Hudson was delighted to take part in a naming ceremony for the MV “HSL KAUAI” that was held in the spirit of celebration, connection, and maritime tradition. The cultural program provided a memorable backdrop to the event, reinforcing the global nature of modern shipping. A true family affair, Hudson Regional Director, Daniel Eilon, looked on with pride as his daughter served as Vessel Sponsor, giving the ship its official ceremonial send-off.

With its name officially bestowed, the MV “HSL KAUAI” has begun its journey as part of Hudson's HSL Series, carrying with it the tranquility of paradise and the strength of performance. Here’s to fair winds and following seas!
