Hudson has never shied away from charting a different course, especially when it comes to sustainability. Our NO to Scrubbers policy is a prime example. As the industry prepared for the IMO 2020 sulphur regulations, Hudson made the forward-thinking decision to comply by burning cleaner fuels rather than installing toxic scrubbers. The choice was simple: don’t transfer pollution from the air into our oceans. Burn cleaner fuels.

That position remains unchanged today. The HSL Series is scrubber-free by design, combining cleaner fuels with advanced technologies engineered to improve efficiency while reducing environmental impact. This same progressive approach is central to Hudson’s broader ESG initiatives and commitment to continuous improvement.

EcoVadis evaluates more than environmental performance. Its assessment also considers labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, areas where Hudson continues to strengthen its policies, practices, and supply chain engagement.
