Hudson debuts the newest member of its Clean&Green™ HSL Series, the MV “HSL Geraldton”!

All in attendance were in awe as the gleaming vessel was officially unveiled and christened by honorary Godmother, Patrizia Zuppini of IMI Fabi.

The ceremony was followed by traditional Japanese festivities, cultural excursions, delectable food, and great fun!

Hudson was humbled by and grateful for the support received by so many friends, colleagues, and partners who joined us to celebrate our latest innovation and investment in our Clean&Green™ future.

The MV “HSL Geraldton”, a Handymax vessel, is constructed with state-of-the-art Japanese technology and advanced efficiencies. This “HSL” Prototype is engineered to provide the adaptable solutions that Hudson’s customers rely on.

With features like ultra-low friction coating and flow control, pre-swirl stator, and rudder fins, the MV “HSL Geraldton” is distinctly Cleaner&Greener compared to older model vessels and achieves best-in-class speed and consumption.

In line with Hudson’s Clean&Green™ NO Scrubber Policy, HSL Series ships, including the MV “HSL Geraldton”, are VLSFO & LSMGO IMO 2020 Compliant without the use of toxic polluting scrubbers.

The MV "HSL Geraldton" proudly embarks on its maiden voyage to Australia and then the USA, powered by the proven reliability of Japanese technology and Hudson’s industry-leading expertise.
