Joakim Noah Visits Hudson

For fans of the Chicago Bulls, and especially of the 2007-2016 seasons, Joakim Noah is a recognizable and favorable name.

Many might remember him for his several accolades including nominations to the 2014 All-NBA first team, 2 NBA All-Defensive First Team selections, and the award for 2014’s NBA Defensive Player of the Year, becoming the second Chicago Bull to win the award after Michael Jordan. His career highlights include 7 triple-doubles of which his third triple-double consisted of 23 points, 21 rebounds, and 11 blocks. This triple-double allowed him to join Hakeem Olajuwon, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shawn Bradley, Shaquille O’Neal and Elvin Hayes as the only players to record a triple-double of format 20-20-10 in points, rebounds, and blocks.

Though he retired in 2020, he continues to give back to the basketball community through his philanthropic work. With his mom, he founded the Noah’s Arc Foundation, helping children and especially at-risk youth engage in self-expression through arts and sports in Chicago. In collaboration with Noah’s Arc Foundation and various violence reduction programs, he has launched One City Basketball League in Chicago.

His passion and generosity demonstrate and define what it means to be an All-Star on and off the court. This is why Hudson is proud to work with not only the Chicago Bulls, but also with Joakim Noah, serving as the Chicago Bulls’ ambassador. His visit on November 15, 2023 was one to remember for the Hudson team.
