August 13, 2024

Our sister company, HSL Shipping & Logistics NA Inc., d/b/a Hudson Shipping Lines (hereinafter “Hudson”) is excited to announce its partnership with the TREAT Foundation, marking our latest effort to make a positive impact in our community.  The Treatment, Rehab & Education for Athletes of Tomorrow (TREAT) Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to improve the lives of future athletes in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.  By providing “injury prevention programs and sports rehab treatment as well as education on strength coaching, athletic training, physical therapy, & chiropractic rehab career paths to student athletes”, TREAT foundation helps to level the playing field for young athletes, “regardless of race and/or socioeconomic background”.

Hudson’s pledge will help the TREAT Foundation provide treatment for student athletes, college tuition grants, scholarship opportunities, online learning, and paid internships.

Considering Hudson’s long-standing support of the Chicago Bears, the partnership’s inaugural event serendipitously kicked off at Chicago Bear Jaquan Brisker’s free youth football camp. The Chicago Bears' Safety held his annual camp on the west side of Chicago.  This year the TREAT Foundation was onsite alongside Defensive Tackle Gervon Dexter, Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, Defensive Tackle Zacch Pickens, and Cornerback Josh Blackwell.  TREAT Foundation’s passionate and experienced physical therapists provided the kids with exercises, treatment, and techniques to help them on and off the field.

Hudson believes the TREAT Foundation’s mission aligns perfectly with the core goals of Hudson’s Community Outreach & Sponsorships programs and is eager to continue working together to make a lasting difference.
