Vigilance, Training, and Experience Pays Off for the Survivors Lost at Sea
On July 22, 2022, The M/V Buffalo, operated by Hudson Shipping Lines, sailing from the USA to China, spotted and consequently rescued 5 Vietnamese fishermen who were on the verge of death after 12 days stranded at sea.
The Vietnamese fishing boat sank on July 10th. Her crew of 15 had taken to two lifeboats.
Six fishermen perished by the time our M/V Buffalo discovered the 2nd lifeboat, bringing the total number of survivors to 9.
