This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Hudson’s partnership with the UFC. No better kick-off to this year’s sponsorship of the UFC could have taken place than with thrilling, razor-close, final-minute plays for Feb 24, 2024’s flyweight championship.

Hudson sponsored UFC Fight Night 237 featuring Moreno vs Royval that took place in Arena CDMX, Mexico. In a split decision with two judges scoring the fight 48-47 and one judge scoring 46-49 following five rounds, Brandon Royval was named champion of the main event. Brandon Royval, who has 16 wins and 7 losses against former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno with 21 wins, 8 losses and 2 draws under his belt, had previously fought and lost to Moreno in UFC 255 of November 2020. With this win, he moves up in his position from #3 in the UFC Flyweight rankings, being propelled into the May 4th UFC 301 ultimate title shot.
