She did it! Six-Year-Old Saesha Makes it to Mount Everest Base Camp!

Public Relations

Six-year-old Saesha Mangesh Raut just made history! This incredible little girl has successfully reached the Mount Everest Base Camp. Saesha is now the youngest Indian girl ever to accomplish such a remarkable feat! It was by no means an easy journey. The Base Camp trek took nearly two weeks to complete. Along the way, Saesha faced bitter cold and unforgiving terrain. None of that could stop Saesha from scaling the 17,589 feet to the top. If the pictures do it any justice, it was quite an exhilarating trip.

Of course, Saesha wasn’t just in it for the thrills. Saesha’s record-breaking journey brought attention to an issue that is very near and dear to our hearts. Saesha used her story to raise awareness about the pollution of our oceans. This includes the devastation that scrubber washwater has caused. It is a problem Saesha will continue to fight as she begins her next adventure.

Wherever that will be has yet to be determined, but with Saesha in command it is bound to be extraordinary. If you want to donate to Saesha’s cause, the link is still available!
